Trend micro smart scan agent pattern not updating good ideas for dating profile
So if anyone has done any real performance testing, with 100-500 clients, I would really like to know.At least Trend Micro managed to get something right with the new Smart Scan feature. And most people should have had enough time to test it properly. In addition, the Trend Micro Unauthorized Change Prevention Service (tmbsrv.exe) is a nice feature, but I believe it requires a bit more resources than the old Watchdog service. I haven’t had time to test this one properly, at least not performance wise. You should upgrade if the new features appeals to you. But, performance wise, there are still some issues. The University does not have a central license for cloud use, but departments are free to purchase Trend for their cloud deployments as needed.
Staff can log in with their My ID username and password here (Make sure to choose the edu domain): If you have never logged in to that page, you will need to request access by submitting a ticket to the EITS Help Desk.
Please open a ticket with the EITS Help Desk requesting a group to be made in Trend, and make sure to include what department you work for as well as all of the IP addresses of the clients that need to be in the group (if at all possible, please use consecutive IP addresses for members in a group). Currently the default setup is to use the Windows firewall.
Per Trend's recommendation, this runs in conjunction with the Trend Intrusion Defense Firewall. Because we want to provide an installer that causes the least amount of interference to business process and does not risk interrupting critical systems, there are a number of features that are turned off by default.
So, just some thoughts about Trend Micro Office Scan 10. E.g.: Extracting a Windows XP cd (from an ISO file) takes at least 50% more time with Office Scan 10 (using Winrar).
Its been some months now, since the GM build release of Office Scan 10. This is with conventional scan mode, I get about the same results with Smart Scan, but you can’t really compare it, since its not cached.
In your request, make sure to specify what department you work for.
